So-I'm-Not-Martha-Stewart Boiled Eggs
Place eggs in a pan and add water, enough to cover them plus one inch. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover and remove from heat, and let rest for 15 minutes. Run cool water over the eggs in the pan until cool.
(Because I can never remember how I got them to turn out so perfectly last time.)

Wow, we always boil them for 15 minutes then run them under cold water immediately. Your method seems like it would save energy. Does it really work?
Yes, it does work, and quite nicely too! :)
That's the way I've always boiled eggs, and you're right, they are perfect that way!
