Turkey Sausage

1 pound ground turkey
3/4 tsp salt
about 1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp whole fennel seeds
heaping 1/2 tsp dried basil
heaping 1/2 tsp dried oregano

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.  (I use my hands to work the spices evenly into the meat.)  Cook in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat until it is no longer pink.

I left out the "scant 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper" :)
